Exposition is also accessible to people with reduced mobility
The Exposition of Nature of Slovak Karst and Surrouding Areas presents an unusual variety of natural phenomena and beauties of the given area. It is installed in a building built as a shelter for the poor known as “Františka´s Asylum“ in 1904. The flora and fauna biotope communities present a living nature. A part of the exposition dedicated to non-living nature documents an earth evolution, geological periods and features, a geological structure of Spiš-Gemer Ore Mountains and Slovak Karst as well as an appearance of minerals there.
